Bus Service

We are extremely proud of our door-to-door bus service which is available from Foundation Stage 1 upwards. More than 200 of our students currently use our school bus service every day, on routes from as far as The Springs to as close as Wafi. 

Safety is our Top Priority

All our vehicles are maintained in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and requirements. Buses are not only kept clean on the outside, but are in excellent shape under the hood as well. In addition to that, we have initiated steps to provide maximum safety to students who are traveling in our buses by installing various safety related systems.

These include:

  • Passenger seats fitted with individual 3-point seat belts
  • Voice Reminder System to alert staff that the child has vacated the bus
  • Bell System
  • GPS Tracking System of the routes
  • Tablet based attendance System
  • CCTV Cameras and DVR
  • No child left behind /Patrol System
  • Digital Display while students on board
  • All Bus Drivers and Attendants hold valid First Aid and Fire Warden certificates.

Foundation Stage 1

We offer a bus service from Foundation Stage 1 upwards. Please take a look at our Foundation Stage bus video for more information. Please note that all buses leave DESS between 2.30-2.45pm, therefore, if you wish for your Foundation Stage 1 child to use the bus service, SuperClub sign up is also necessary.

Why we use Maverick?

Our bus provider, Maverick, is a private, independent, specialist school transport company which has been operating in the UAE since 2009. Maverick are very familiar with school and parent expectations. They strictly follow RTA & KHDA rules and regulations, and operate in premium schools across Dubai. Maverick services over 1,000,000 stops a year, on time, every school day.
